I'm a writer in my office up high with the tree tops looking out on Lake Minnetonka. Weekly I write a newspaper column about living on water, travel adventures, comments on society's changes, growing up in a simplier time and ideas that entertain my brain. Working with other writers on developing ideas, I conduct classes in my home to learn more about writing enjoyment and publication. I'd love to hear from other writers!

writers and ideas for publication
Any writers out there wanting to join a writing group interested in sharing ideas and receiving comments on writings ready to be sent in for publication? I'd love to hear from YOU!
Merlot and Chablis
Indian Summer is dressing the trees outside my window. My maples are clad in merlot, chablis and cabernet...lovely to look at and dream from my office windows.
As glorious as the colors appear, the season reminds me of endings...summer swimming, grilling on the deck, sunning on the dock and boating are all coming to an end. But I do look forward to walking in the woods with Buddy my Beagle, crunching the leaves on my path and inhaling the air filled with aromas from burning fireplaces in the neighborhood and the crisp, invigorating breezes of impending winter.
Fall is a reawakening for me...I'm ready to pull out my paints, write another column on my laptop, bake squash in the oven alongside a succulent pork roast with oven potatoes...yum. Who doesn't eat better in fall's cool temperatures?
Just found my wool socks, my flannal jammies and a good book. Time to snuggle in Mom's afaghan and read. pat
